As a lazy and untalented person, I love getting SOOC jpeg looks.

I also love film. I shot quite a bit of film, but laziness (again) got the better of me. A bit too much hassle shooting, maintaining, and bringing it to get developed. I shoot a lot of random stuff too, and so the cost of it also doesn’t help.

Now I’m shooting jpegs on my xt30ii, and I’m having the time of my life. So many recipes. Both mimicking film stocks and creating unique looks. So many looks I can try. It’s the dream come true!

It does feels like there are so many cool recipes, and there are not enough people using and sharing actual photos of them (except Portra recipes 😂). So I made this blog/newsletter to share my photos and experience.

Anyways, here’s what you can expect from this newsletter:

New post comes out… when it comes out. Sticking to a schedule feels like the antithesis of making good art 🙂.
